As a consultant and workshop leader, Julie Goldberg, MA, LPC, LAC, has helped schools, organizations, and other groups grow through guided lectures, seminars, curriculum evaluations, and in-depth training.
She’s collaborated with the Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation and the Yess Institute to lead substance-use prevention workshops and served as the Substance Use Prevention Curriculum Trainer for Denver Public Schools.

Teen Intervene is designed as a comprehensive screening, brief intervention, and referral to treatment (SBIRT) model of care. Teenagers who have experienced mild to moderate problems associated with alcohol or drug use work one-on-one with an addiction treatment counselor to identify and, ultimately, change their choices and behaviors.
